In our range of CNC Machining Centres we have capacity up to X1000, Y650 and Z500, and specialise in parts machined within this footprint.
Batches of all sizes can be processed, from one off's up to many hundreds are common. Lower volumes can be catered for economically, as a result of efficiency in CAM programming and setups.
We have vast experience in '3D' milling that fully utilises our comprehensive CADCAM facilities, customer models can be input via various file formats or we can produce the model in-house.
With 4th axis facilities and Renishaw Probing we are well equipped to serve your CNC requirements.
CNC Turning
CNC CAPACITY
MAX CAPACITY 300mm diameter and 600mm in length. 52mm throat diameter.
Our range of CNC lathes have a capacity up to 300mm diameter and up to 600mm long when used with programmable centres.
The machines can also be programmed via our CADCAM facilities if complex forms are required using either customer supplied files or designed internally.
We cater for lower batches of turned parts from one offs up to hundreds, where we can be versatile on machining methods and work holding to meet the requirements of the part.
CAD/CAM
We have a comprehensive Edgecam CADCAM package used for CNC programming.
Most 3D model and 2D file formats can be transferred and input from the customers own design or we can design to the customer's requirements and drawings in-house prior to the system generating machine code.
Due to the efficiency in our programming and setting methods and the skill of the workforce one offs and small batches can be produced economically, with the programming and set up costs being offset against a smaller quantity.
These CAM files are logged and archived indefinitely should the customer wish to reorder in the future, needless to say Customer Confidentiality is respected throughout the process.
General & Precision Engineering
At Camtec Engineering we have a fully equipped workshop to compliment and supplement the CNC facilities.
Our highly skilled workforce are all fully qualified and experienced in the range of irreplaceable manual skills, this adds extra versatility to our service and allows us to adapt and be flexible to fulfil our customers every requirement.

Prototypes
We work closely with our customers to produce prototype developments, which is often for pre-production evaluation. The customer has the idea and vision, we have the skills and experience to turn that idea into reality.
If required we will consider the practicalities and production methods of the design and feedback suggestions to improve and thus reduce cost of manufacture.
